Celebrating Security Leaders: 100 Global CISOs for 2020

Forcepoint is working with HotTopics.ht to support the 2020 Global CISO100. This project is an opportunity to recognize the achievements of security heroes from around the world.
Current events have forced every organization to reassess their security strategy while simultaneously accelerating their digital transformation efforts at a pace not seen in years. It’s a reality that has elevated the importance of CISOs and the security organizations they lead.
That’s why we’re excited to be part of the 2020 Global CISO100—We see it as a way to shine a light on security heroes and visionaries of today and to recognize the up and coming security stars of tomorrow.
The HotTopics Global CISO100 is a global initiative, open to professionals who have cybersecurity responsibility for their organisation, regardless of size, or sector - including not-for-profit, government, education and commercial.
Those achieving Global CISO100 status will be decided on by a judging panel, made up of cybersecurity and technology industry professionals. Anoop Chopra. Global Director of Cyber Security/CISO. Bupa Global, Jeff Harris, Chief Cybersecurity Operations, US Small Business Administration (and former 2017 CISO 100 recipient), and Karissa Breen, Founder and CEO at KBI are all members of the judging panel, with more judges to be announced.
Also serving as an honorary judge this year will be Lucas di Grassi, Formula E founding driver and chairman of Roborace, the world’s first autonomous competition for human and artificial intelligence teams.
All judges will be looking for CISOs (or equivalent heads of security) who have gone above and beyond to help drive business success. The paradox of keeping a business secure while fuelling its growth is the essence of why cybersecurity is a vital function worth celebrating.
Forcepoint and HotTopics.ht are looking for individuals who are:
- Implementing radical change through digital transformation or as society pivots to remote working;
- Building a security strategy that mitigates risk and maximizes business performance;
- Championing educational programs and/or technological change internally, across the whole organization from board level to grassroots;
- Representing their companies on current and future state cybersecurity topics.
If you know someone who fits the bill, please nominate them. Nominations close on August 28, so if you have someone in mind, nominate them soon!
