Look for the Green Shirts at Microsoft Ignite 2017
Customers adopting cloud platforms, whether IaaS/PaaS with Azure or SaaS with Office365, are forced to revisit their security infrastructure. Forcepoint has been working closely with Microsoft, integrating Forcepoint DLP and Office 365, and we have some exciting news to share. We will be at Microsoft Ignite 2017, showcasing our DLP integration in a session titled “Protecting Complete Data Lifecycle Using Microsoft Information Protection Capabilities.” We will also be talking about the Forcepoint | Microsoft partnership at the Theater Sessions on the expo-show flow as well as taking a deeper dive into the Forcepoint DLP and Office 365 integration. Our team members will be present in the Microsoft Security section of the show floor (look for the green shirts!).
For Ignite, while we are focusing on the Office 365 and Azure Information Protection integration with Forcepoint DLP, there are many other areas where we are actively working with Microsoft to ensure our joint customers have the most secure experience possible. When it comes to interoperability with Azure, Forcepoint CASB, DLP and NGFW all work to provide the appropriate visibility, access and data protection in your public or hybrid cloud environment.
Web and Email Security
Forcepoint’s Web and Email Security Gateway products have been working within the broader Microsoft ecosystem (Windows and Exchange) for years. With both Web and Email gateway security for Office 365, you have powerful inbound and outbound controls to protect users and data against malware. For additional protection, add on Forcepoint Advanced Malware Detection (sandbox) to accurately identify evasive malware.
NGFW
With the growth of XaaS computing models, Forcepoint NGFW allows ROBO deployments which previously routed traffic to central IT for security processing to now safely use commodity broadband and go directly to public Azure instances.
CASB
Forcepoint CASB provides visibility and control with real-time activity monitoring for Azure, OneDrive or Office 365 to manage access, monitor cloud usage, detect and block internal / cyber threats, and ascertain user risks within these environments.
There are many areas where Forcepoint technologies can be complimentary to existing Microsoft environments. We are excited about the possibilities for our joint customers and are thrilled to be teaming up with Microsoft. Learn more by visiting our partner page.
