Forcepoint Security Labs to present at InfoSecurity Europe 2018 and BSides London 2018
Next week, Forcepoint Security Labs researchers will deliver their insights at 2 conferences in London, UK.
Infosecurity Europe 2018
Carl Leonard, Principal Security Analyst is giving a Strategy talk, “One Year After WannaCry - Has Anything Changed? A Root Cause Analysis of Data Breaches.”
Carl will look at the macro trends that result in the challenging environment in which we all operate today, provide an understanding of the root cause of recent data breaches and offer guidance on how to protect your business from specific root causes.
His talk will commence at 10:40am BST, Wednesday 6th June.
The Forcepoint team will deliver live demos and discuss Risk-Adaptive Protection at booth C120 throughout the 3 days of the event.

BSides London 2018
At BSides London 2018 researcher Abel Toro will deliver a talk “OODA Loops: Ctrl+Break the Attack Cycle.”
The theme set by BSides London this year is “BreachDay Clock: 2mins to midnight”. This fits well with Abel's topic as he will first introduce the OODA loop as a conceptual model for human decision making. He will describe typical OODA loops used by both attackers and defenders then explain how attackers’ OODA loops can be disrupted to reduce dwell time.
Abel’s talk is at 12:15pm BST, Wednesday 6th June during the main event. Workshops are being hosted on Tuesday 5th June.
