
Laurie O’Brien
Laurie O’Brien is the chief human resources officer at Forcepoint. She is responsible for all aspects of the human resources function including human capital strategy, talent acquisition and talent development. Her role encompasses succession planning, employee engagement and total rewards as well as overseeing HR technology, process improvement and automation, and workforce analytics. O’Brien began her career at Forcepoint in October 2017 as the head of total rewards, where she championed enhancements in the company’s overall compensation and benefits strategy, introducing improved work-life balance benefits, and implementing global initiatives to provide transparent and accurate data and analytics for compensation programs.
Prior to joining Forcepoint, O’Brien’s experience included total rewards leadership roles across multiple industries, including TruGreen, a personalized lawn care organization, and Dresser-Rand, a global supplier of rotating equipment solutions within oil & gas. During her tenure at Dresser-Rand, O’Brien also served as a Corporate Fellow at the University of Houston-Downtown, teaching compensation and benefits to MBA students.
O’Brien holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from the University of North Texas.
