
Matthew T. Santangelo
Matthew (Matt) Santangelo is the chief financial officer for Forcepoint. His leadership in global corporate financial strategies and operations include financial forecasting, planning and reporting, managing overall financial performance and leading the finance team. Santangelo brings 19 years of experience leading cross-functional teams to his role.
Prior to his position at Forcepoint, Santangelo was the senior director of Business Transformation and Offsets at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). In this role he was responsible for the development and implementation of fundamental changes to the way IDS conducts business, including process improvements, infrastructure consolidations and portfolio optimization. Matt was also responsible for the overall leadership of Offset planning, development and execution of current and future obligations, designing strategies to drive top-line growth and creating long-term value for both Raytheon and our global customer base.
Santangelo also served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Global Integrated Sensors (GIS) business at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS), finance director for International Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) programs from late 2009 to mid-2012 and director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business unit from mid-2007 through late 2009.
Matt started with Raytheon in 2000 as a member of the Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP), which included rotations across multiple businesses and corporate, with experiences covering financial planning and analysis, proposals, investor relations and program controls.
Santangelo has participated in several leadership initiatives, including the Raytheon Executive Leadership Summit, the University of California Los Angeles Diverse Leadership Development Program and the Leadership Connection Jericho Road Program.
Santangelo received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley University and a master’s in business administration from Boston University.
In late 2014, Matt was elected to the Board of Directors at Ironstone Farm/Challenge Unlimited, where he spent three years in various roles including serving as treasurer. This non-profit organization provides equine therapy and recreation for disabled children, combat veterans and at risk youth
