New Report: 2023 Gartner® Critical Capabilities for Single-Vendor SASE

Forcepoint scored highest for the Advanced Security Use Case
Jim Fulton

Gartner® has just released the 2023 Critical Capabilities for Single-Vendor SASE – a supporting report for their inaugural Magic Quadrant™ for Single-Vendor SASE, where Forcepoint was recognized as a Visionary.

In the Critical Capabilities report, Gartner identifies three key use cases for implementing Secure Access Service Edge (SASE): Basic SASE, Network-Driven SASE and SASE with Advanced Security.

Gartner observed that, "across all offerings, most vendors provide strong branch networking and branch security capabilities. However, the level of advanced security features across all offerings is only mediocre for most enterprises."*

Forcepoint is honored to have scored among the top of all vendors for the Advanced Security Use Case. In our view, it reiterates that only a few vendors have met the criteria for inclusion in these Single-Vendor SASE reports.

Gartner identifies the organizations who should favour this use case: “This is typically a highly regulated enterprise or one that deals with sensitive information, such as financial services, insurance and healthcare. It is an organization that requires advanced security capabilities, not simply “good-enough” security.”*

We see SASE as more than just delivering secure access. Our Data-first SASE approach delivered by our Forcepoint ONE platform adds advanced security to safeguard the usage of sensitive data everywhere from the endpoint to the cloud, combing industry-leading data security with Zero Trust.
