Deborah Johnson

Deborah K. Johnson is a seasoned executive leader with nearly 40 years of experience as a recognized insider threat expert, advising C-suite leaders on effective risk mitigation strategies, employee awareness, and strategic policy development.  Prior to joining Forcepoint, she was President of DKJohnson Consulting Associates, and the Vice President for Global Insider Threats at Jacobs, where she created and implemented a global insider risk management program to identify and prevent the loss of intellectual property, sensitive, and proprietary data by employees.

She has served in executive leadership positions at the Central Intelligence Agency, the White House, and the Department of Energy.  At the CIA, she led the Agency's personnel security program, responsible for clearance determinations to prevent, detect and deter insider threats; and as a Program Director and Information Systems Security Manager, she led the day to day operations of the CIA's Cyber Security Program. 

She holds a graduate certificate in Information Systems Security Management from George Washington University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science, and a BA degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice from Howard University.  She also completed the Executive Leadership program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business.
