Today, Forcepoint announced an integration with the Claude Compliance API, bringing Claude Enterprise conversation content and Claude Platform activity logs directly into Forcepoint products.
Security and compliance teams can now extend the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) workflows they already run to Claude through the API.
The excitement our customers have for deploying Claude at scale has driven us to simplify how they manage data security and AI governance. With today's announcement, customers can simply direct Forcepoint technology to find, classify and protect sensitive data whenever it is used, accessed, or generated by Claude.
— Bakshi Kohli, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Global Engineering, Forcepoint
How the Integration Works
Forcepoint ingests every Claude Enterprise conversation, file upload, generated content and user activity into a unified AI governance dashboard. From there, security teams apply existing Forcepoint DLP and DSPM policies across all Claude interactions, detecting sensitive data exposures, enforcing compliance controls and maintaining a complete audit trail.
Historical activity is backfilled automatically the moment the integration is deployed. Security teams don't start with a blank slate. They start with context.
Extend Your Existing Policies
Existing Forcepoint DLP policies extend to Claude Enterprise with zero reclassification. The same taxonomy governing email, web and endpoint now governs Claude interactions. Security teams that have already invested in Forcepoint's classification infrastructure apply that investment directly to one of the most widely adopted enterprise AI tools on the market.
Gain AI Governance for Claude Enterprise
Claude Enterprise gives employees access to powerful AI capabilities across chat, code and collaboration. For security leaders, access creates new governance obligations around sensitive data handling, regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
The Forcepoint integration with the Claude Compliance API means those obligations are now met inside the platform security teams already use. Forcepoint DSPM finds sensitive data and classifies it ready to be used by an AI tool. This integration extends that classification intelligence to Claude, so organizations can govern AI adoption with the confidence their existing data security policies were already built to provide.
Every conversation can be reviewed. Every policy violation can be acted on. Every audit can be supported with a documented, complete record of Claude activity across the organization.
AI governance isn't a future requirement. It's a present one. And Claude is now part of the Forcepoint AI Security program.
