Your DLP program is working. Now, you can prove it.

You're blocking exfiltration attempts, enforcing policy across channels and catching risky behavior before it becomes a breach. The console tells you that every day.

But when the CISO walks into a board meeting and someone asks what the data security program has actually prevented this quarter, or what exposure looks like as AI adoption accelerates across the business, the answer isn't in the console.

That gap between what your DLP program does and what leadership can see is the problem that our version 10.4.2 update for Forcepoint DLP is built to close.

Your DLP Is Working. Now You Can Prove It.

The CISO Dashboard, powered by Forcepoint Insights on the Data Security Cloud platform, is now available as part of Forcepoint DLP 10.4.2.

It transforms the operational data your DLP program generates every day into clear, executive-level business outcomes, with no manual report compilation or log interpretation required.

The problem it solves is a visibility gap, not a DLP effectiveness gap. Admins live in the Forcepoint Security Manager (FSM) console. They understand exactly what's happening. But CISOs and executive leadership don't want logs. They want to understand risk trends, see what's being protected and know whether the program is improving over time.

Without an executive-level view, that story is effectively untellable. As AI tool adoption introduces a new and fast-growing category of data risk, leadership is asking these questions more frequently and with higher urgency.

What the dashboard shows. The CISO Dashboard surfaces the outcomes that matter at the executive level, including:

  • Threats stopped
  • Data protected
  • Policy effectiveness
  • Risk trends over time
  • Top risky users and departments
  • Data exfiltration attempts prevented
  • Channel and policy insights

Instead of interpreting incidents, leadership can see measurable outcomes and track them as they improve.

How it works. Customers onboard their existing on-premises DLP environment into Forcepoint Insights through a lightweight cloud setup that requires no changes to how DLP is managed.

Policies, operations and workflows in FSM continue exactly as they do today. Only anonymized DLP event data is used to power the dashboard. No end-user content, no personally identifiable information and nothing subject to DLP policy enforcement is collected. There is no rip-and-replace and no migration required.

Availability and cost. The CISO Dashboard is included at no additional cost for existing and new on-premises DLP customers running version 10.3.3 or higher. It ships in DLP 10.4.2 and is also being backported to DLP 10.3.3 to give broad availability across existing deployments. Additional Improvements in Version 10.4.2

DLP 10.4.2 also includes two supporting enhancements. Policy export and import now bundles classifiers and resources directly into the package, removing the need to pre-configure classifiers and resources on the target system and simplifying policy migration and replication across development, test, and production environments. This is particularly valuable for organizations that validate policy changes in development or test environments before promoting them into production. It also lays important groundwork for future modernization efforts.

Forcepoint Security Manager can now be operated behind a proxy, enabling DLP deployments in restricted or compliance-governed network architectures where outbound connections require proxy routing.

How to Install
