What is a Data Risk Assessment (DRA)?

DRA stands for “Data Risk Assessment” and is a process used to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with data management and usage. It involves evaluating potential threats to data integrity, confidentiality, and availability. DSPM and DDR scans will contribute to Data Risk Assessment. Forcepoint generates Data Risk Assessment Dashboards for both DSPM and DDR scans.

How is the DRA delivered?

Forcepoint's DRA is provided through a 14-day free trial version of the Forcepoint Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and Forcepoint Data Detection and Response (DDR) solutions.

What language files are supported?

The free trial supports English files. Paid subscriptions will have support for many other languages.

What data sources are supported?

The DRA provides OneDrive as a data source to scan. Many additional data sources are available in paid subscriptions.

What are the file/data limits of the trial?

There are no file/data limits for the 14-day free trial.

What account privileges do I require for my OneDrive account?

DSPM and DDR requires users with Global Admin privileges in order to scan files in OneDrive.

How long does Forcepoint retain files after classification?

Forcepoint downloads a copy of each file for classification that is kept in memory, and we wipe it immediately after the classification.
