Forcepoint Presents: Protecting People and Content from Threats Already on the Inside
Date: Thursday, February 16th
Time: 4:00pm — 4:20pm
Location: Moscone West, Level 3
The concrete perimeter is a fallacy. It’s never been anything more than a dream, a hope of keeping bad actors out. Today’s security perimeter has evolved to respond to the inevitable—to manage threats that are already inside our networks. The corresponding security challenges are increasing exponentially, both in number and in difficulty, as companies embrace the Cloud and third party integration.
Forcepoint CEO Matt Moynahan will discuss the role people-centric security plays in protecting intellectual property and other valuable content in this next generation of cyber threats.
Could U.S. Anti-Hacking Laws Handicap Cybersecurity?
Dr. Richard Ford
Date: Wednesday, February 15, 2017
Location: Moscone Center, Room 131
June 2016, the American Civil Liberties Union filed a U.S. federal court lawsuit challenging anti-hacking laws (AHL) constitutionality, arguing AHL prevents the collection of investigative data.
Dr. Richard Ford, Forcepoint CTO, will moderate a debate between a legal expert, an academic, and a cyber engineer on the dangers to R&D and cyber security of anti-hacking legislation.
Onsite demos will include the following:
- Web & Email Cloud Security
- Next Generation Firewall
- Insider Threat
- Data & IP Loss Prevention
- Cross Domain Solutions
